Review and Highlights Pioneering Digital Identity & Farm Digital Wallets What an incredible experience our team had at Fieldays! We’d like to share the highlights from this event that brought together farmers, industry representatives, international delegations, and government officials. đ Engaging with International Delegations đ€ Thanks to the efforts of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, Callaghan Innovation, Agritech New Zealand and New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade, we had the opportunity to engage with several international delegations. Meaningful discussions around joint opportunities, collaborations, and the future of agriculture took place, strengthening global connections and fostering innovation. đ Digital Futures – A Collaborative Endeavor đ» Our joint  “Digital Futuresâ stand created a remarkable platform for Agritech New Zealand, Callaghan Innovation, Digital Boost NZ and TANZ to engage with our members, thought leaders and government officials. We shared insights and discussed the exciting potential of digital technologies in shaping the future of agriculture. đ International Event Highlights đ± 1.     NZ/UK Free Trade Agreement Thanks to The Rt Hon Chris Hipkins for opening the session, followed by three practical examples from industry, including an insightful example by Lisbeth Jacobs of Gallagher. The session explored free trade agreements and building connections with government officials to foster further collaboration between NZ and the UK. As a follow-up we met with the UK’s Trade Envoy, the Rt Hon David Mundell, to introduce TANZ and discuss potential collaboration. 2.     Good Harvest Practice – Sustainable Agriculture Demonstration Organized by the Delegation of the European Union to NZ, this event showcased the collaboration between the EU and NZ in driving sustainable agriculture practices. The Hon Damien OConnor along with H.E. Nina Obermaier, Ambassador of the European Union, led the conversation with industry leaders from both regions. 3.    đȘEmpowering Women in Agriculture đŸ A special shout-out to Dana Avram and Kylie Horomia for organizing the excellent networking event, “Women in Agriculture.” It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and support the remarkable contributions of women in our industry. đ Other Memorable Moments đž Our team was privileged to meet Sir William Gallagher, KNZM, MBE, HonD, a true pioneer in NZ’s agritech industry to discuss Digital Identity and security on the farm. On Friday afternoon we had a great conversation with Jenny Cameron, CTO Fit for a Better World at MPI, about how the Digital Farm Wallet can support transformation and create meaningful impact. TANZ received a huge amount of interest with lots of positive feedback on what we are achieving. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this event a success, especially to our members for being such great advocates and spreading the word.
